THE PRODUCT
TFI Microlen® chemically crosslinked closed cell Polyolefine Foams are produced in blocks, offering a choice of Polyethylene and Ethylene Vinyl Acetate materials in a range of densities designed to meet selection criteria for the widest range of applications and methods of fabrication.

TFI Microlen® PE and EVA Foams provide a wide range of unique performance characteristics and are available in a nominal density range between 30kg/m3 and 350kg/m3. These foams provide cost effective replacements for many materials including felt, neoprene, natural rubber, polyurethane foam, pvc foam, wood composites, mineral wool and fibreglass.

TFI Microlen® PE and EVA Foams are available in a wide range of standard colours.

Polyethylene Foams versus EVA Foams....

Polyethylene and Ethylene Vinyl Acetate Foams are similar materials and are difficult to tell apart. The main differences are....

  • Polyethylene Foam is firmer and more resistant to heat.
  • Eva is softer, more resilient, and has stronger recovery after compression.

In combination, laminations of PE and EVA Foams provide very precise densities for special application requirements.

Health and Safety....

All raw materials used in the production of TFI Polyethylene and EVA Foams comply with todays health and safety regulations. The product is free from Formaldehyde and carcinogenic substances. No CFC substances are used in the production of TFI Foams.
